Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Players, parents and others may view drills shared with them by link without an account. If you use Croqa on behalf of a club, school or other organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these Terms for it.

Keep your login details secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away at team@cruzcoaching.net if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

Croqa offers a free plan and paid plans. Plan features and limits (such as saved drills, session plans and AI uploads per month) are shown on the pricing page and may change over time.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.

Payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods or unused features, except where required by law or where we decide otherwise at our discretion.

We may change prices. If the price of your plan changes, we'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next billing period. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.

Club plans let the account owner invite coaches. The owner is responsible for the club's subscription and for who they invite.

Croqa uses artificial intelligence, provided by third-party AI providers, to read drill sheets and turn written instructions into moves. When you use these features, the files and text you submit are sent to those providers to produce the result.

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Always check an animated drill before using it with players. Monthly limits apply to AI features based on your plan.

"Your Content" means the drills, drill sheets, images, text, session plans and other material you create or upload. You keep ownership of Your Content.

You give Cruz Coaching a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to run, secure and improve the Service. This includes sending it to our service providers, showing it to people you share it with, and creating previews and thumbnails.

When you create a share link, anyone with that link can view that drill. When you add a drill to a club library, every coach in that club can view and copy it. You can stop sharing a drill at any time, but people may already have viewed or saved it.

You're responsible for Your Content. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including drill sheets created by others, and that it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service, its software or its drill library, except as these Terms allow;
• reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code, prompts or underlying models of the Service, except where the law allows this despite this restriction;
• use the Service to build a competing product;
• get around plan limits, usage limits or security measures, or use automated tools to access the Service;
• upload material that infringes someone else's rights, or that is unlawful, harmful, abusive or contains malware;
• upload personal information about players beyond what's needed (for example, use numbers or first names rather than full details), and never sensitive information about children;
• interfere with or overload the Service.

The Service, including its software, design, drill library, text, graphics, and the Croqa™ name and logo, belongs to Cruz Coaching or its licensors and is protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for coaching. You may use drills from the Croqa drill library in your own coaching, including copies you change, but you may not republish or sell the library as a collection. "Croqa", the Croqa logo and "Cruz Coaching" are trademarks of Cruz Coaching and may not be used without our written permission.

Croqa is a planning and visualization tool. It is not professional, medical or safety advice. You are solely responsible for the activities you run, including choosing drills suited to your players' age, ability and fitness, checking equipment and surfaces, and supervising players properly. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cruz Coaching is not responsible for any injury, loss or damage arising from activities planned or run using the Service.

The Service relies on third parties such as payment processing (Stripe), sign-in providers (such as Google), hosting and AI providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to how they handle your information, and we aren't responsible for their services.

You can stop using Croqa and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we stop offering the Service. Where reasonable, we'll give notice. If we end a paid plan without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of your current billing period. Sections 5 (licence for shared copies already made), 7, 8 and 11–15 survive termination.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that content won't be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cruz Coaching will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) US $100. Some places don't allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You agree to defend and indemnify Cruz Coaching against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, each side agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other for at least 30 days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Cruz Coaching about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
